Preity Zinta, the dimpled star
of Bollywood, hasn’t appeared on the big screen in years. But the actor has made her mark over the years with memorable performances. On her 47th birthday, here are six of her best films
that we adore.

Ho, Kal Hona Ho!

With her elegant nerd glasses
and unromantic manner, Preity is the most attractive character in the film. She
delivered an outstanding performance. This is, without a doubt, her best film
to date.

Veer Zaara

Preity Zinta as Zaara Hayaat
Khan, a Pakistani heiress, is incredibly graceful and gorgeous. Her performance
in the film is really genuine and convincing. Her fantastic performance in Veer
Zara proved her to be the best effort after her breakthrough performance in Kal
Ho Naa Ho.

Chori Chori, Chupke Chupke

Preity gives a lot of emotion
to her role, and her journey from a shabbily dressed hooker to a delicate woman
is incredible. Preity outshines everyone else and covers up for the flaws in
the premise of the movie, despite poor music and an absurd narrative.

Dil Se

Dil Se was a cult classic known
for its stunning photography and superb soundtrack by A.R. Rahman. Despite
having a small role, Preity Zinta delivers an enthusiastic performance that
makes a memorable impact. Her cheerful, fresh face and commanding screen
presence set her apart from the rest of the primary actors.

Sangharsh

Sangharsh was one of her first
films, and it gave her a challenging, multi-layered role to play. Her
character, a headstrong but vulnerable CBI officer, was unusual for Hindi films
at the time. Preity, on the other hand, delivers an incredible performance.
Despite the fact that Sangharsh isn’t a great adaptation of  Silence Of
The Lambs, Preity’s performance makes it worthwhile to watch.

Salaam Namaste

Preity Zinta delivers another
charming performance as the vibrant and upbeat Ambar Malhotra. Her sizzling
chemistry set the screen ablaze. She is bold and attractive, and her comic
timing is impeccable. You must see the film for Preity and Saif, as well as the
Australian beaches!
