The coaching
centre of Maharashtra has been found in the case of cheating during the
National Eligibility cum entrance Test 2021 (NEET 2021). Although the CBI investigation
is going on and it has found that some outsiders appeared as college students
and gave the NEET entrance exam. The students were asked to pay Rs 50 lakh in
exchange of appearing for the examination on their behalf.

According to
the sources, the involvement of more than one student is being exposed in this
case while some used proxy or exam solver, in some case the OMR sheet was
manipulated and some students modified their data.

 A case has been registered against a Nagpur based
coaching centre by CBI on September 12, 2021 which used to provide admissions in
top government medical colleges in exchange for money. Proxy cases are being
investigated in five exam centres in Ranchi and Delhi.

According to
a report by The Hindu, the username and password of original student was
changed in the admit card, photographs were also transformed and copies of
e-Aadhar card were made to ensure entry of proxy candidates in the examination
hall.

Earlier, a
NEET questionnaire floated outside a exam centre through whatsapp. Police
arrested 18-year-old Dineshwari Kumari, a candidate, and along with invigilator
Ram Singh, head of the exam centre Mukesh, Dineshwari’s uncle and four others
were also arrested in connection with the case. While the National Testing
Agency (NTA) has denied calling it a leak but considering only one student is
involved in this cheating case reported in Jaipur.

After
several fraud cases, a group of students have submitted submissions to the NTA
asking the agency to re-evaluate the medical entrance  test.

In a JEE
Main test conducted earlier this year as well, a fraud scam was released when
the CBI found that at least one test centre had been hacked by a training
institute.
