Vijay Hazare Trophy has always produced young talents, who make their mark, paving the way for their selection in the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL). This year has witnessed some incredible batting and bowling performances from some young Indian talents, and a few records shattered along the way.

Here are a few of the players who shined at the Vijay Hazare Trophy and will be seen in the IPL: 

1) Prithvi Shaw: He was selected for India’s tour of Australia 2020-21, but couldn’t perform well. He, however, came back with a bang in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Shaw scored 827 runs in 8 matches. This is the highest runs in a single edition of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Let’s just say that form is temporary but the class is permanent.

2) Devdutt Padikkal: An explosive opener for Karnataka, he became the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament. Padikkal scored 737 runs in 7 games at an average of 147.4. Padikkal made his IPL debut last year and he was the highest scorer for RCB. As Devdutt Although Padikkal tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the tournament, he has joined the squad after recovering, the team announced on Wednesday.

3) Krunal Pandya: All rounder from Baroda, Krunal Pandya had some amazing last few months. Scored 388 runs in just 5 games with a batting average of 129.33. And then made a debut for India in the ODI series against England. Mumbai Indians always showed confidence in Krunal, with momentum and sublime form he can be a game changer for Mumbai.
