Two-time Olympic
medalist PV Sindhu recently shared an Instagram reel of the song ‘Love
Nwantiti’ that has left people amazed. She danced to the remixed version of
this song that was originally made famous by the Nigerian artist CKay. Within a
very short span of time the video went viral on social media.

The 26-year-old in
the video is seen wearing a green Kanjeevaram lehenga and flashing a smile as
she dances.  

The video was
shared by the shuttler as a series of Diwali posts. On Instagram, the video has
garnered more than 4 lakh views and thousands of people appreciated the video
in the comments section. Many users reacted with the love emoji.

“Love love your
dress,” commented a viewer. 

“Cutie,”
said another. 

“Most
beautiful girl from India,” chimed in a third.

An Instagram user
jokingly wrote, “POV: You don’t know how to dance but your family members
force you to dance in front of relatives”.

PV Sindhu honoured
with Padma Bhushan

On Monday, PV
Sindhu was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian award, by
President Ram Nath Kovind at a function in Rashtrapati Bhavan in New
Delhi.  After receiving the award, PV Sindhu said, “It is a proud
moment for me.  I am very grateful to the Government of India, all the
ministers and the President for this award.  I am very happy.  Such
awards give us a lot of encouragement, support and motivation to do better in
the future.”

The ace badminton
player won a silver medal in the Rio Olympics and a bronze in the recently
concluded Tokyo Olympics. At the 2019 World Championships, she became the first
Indian to win a world champion title. She also holds the record of being the
second individual athlete from the country to win two consecutive Olympic
medals. She secured her career best world ranking of number 2 in April 2017.
