Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers
Bangalore are preparing hard for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). The
official twitter handle of the Bangalore-based franchise have been uploading pictures
and videos from the practice sessions. With just a few days to go for the cash-rich
tournament to begin, the Kohli-led team is leaving no stones unturned.

Meanwhile, RCB tweeted a video of
Kohli successfully completing a diving catch on his right. In awe of their
captain’s fantastic on-field skills, the official twitter handle captioned the
video as “We’re running out of things to say at this point, Skip!”

The 13th edition IPL,
which was shifted out of India due to the pandemic, will be played in the
United Arab Emirates (UAE), across three venues — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and
Sharjah. The tournament is slated is to begin from September 19, with the final
being played on November 10.

At this point, it seems, four-time
IPL winner Mumbai Indians will take three-time IPL winner Chennai Super Kings
(CSK) in the first match of the tournament.

Apart from Suresh Raina, Lasith
Malinga, who represents Mumbai Indians, pulled out from the tournament citing
personal reasons.

“Lasith Malinga has requested
unavailability for the season for personal reasons and to be with family back
home in Sri Lanka,” Mumbai Indians said on their website.

Mumbai Indians signed Australian
paceman James Pattinson as Malinga’s replacement. He will join the squad by
this weekend.
