The Cannes Film Festival is back for 2021 after the cancellation of last year’s edition because of the pandemic. Apart from the best lineup of films, one could also see the return of all the glitz and glamour that is typically associated with the annual celebration of fashion and film.

From Jessica Chastain, Marion Cotillard, Bella Hadid to Candice Swanepoel, celebrities graced the red carpet and ascended those iconic stairs with aplomb.

Leading the red carpet glamour was supermodel Bella Hadid, who wore a Jean Paul Gaultier dress from the spring 2002 collection. The gown featured a halter neck and a sweeping train and the actor perfectly tied her hair in a tight bun and finished off her look with smokey eyes and bronzed makeup.
Carla Bruni was the next to make heads turn with her sequined, one-shouldered gown from Celine. She posed up a storm in the thigh-high slit gown and accessorised her look with a silver purse.

Jessica Chastain opted for a black Dior gown with a sweetheart shape neckline and exuded old Hollywood glamour with her cherry-hued lips and low ponytail. The layered tulle with velvet lines on the gown was the USP of her look.
Dame Helen Mirren opted for a yellow Dolce & Gabanna dress which she styled with an elaborate choker. Her look was styled by Lee Harris.
Candice Swanepoel impressed all with her rose gold jumpsuit adorned with paisley and floral motifs embroidered with rhinestones, beads, and metallic sequins.
Angèle, Simon Helberg, Marion Cotillard, Leos Carax, Adam Driver, Russell Mael, and Ron Mael were also present during the opening night premiere of “Annette” at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival in Cannes.
