Actress Rhea Chakraborty has filed a police complaint against late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh and others for offences of forgery and other acts. As per the complaint, the actress requested that an FIR should be registered against Priyanka, Dr Tarun Kumar, under the provision of the IPC 1860, the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs Act, 1985 and Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.

Rhea’s lawyer advocate Satish Maneshinde shared the statement with Opoyi that states, “Rhea Chakraborty has filed a Police Complaint before the Mumbai Police against Priyanka Singh , Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Others for offences of Forgery , NDPS Act and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020 for having sent a bogus Medical Prescription depicting SSR as an Out Patient Department person when he was in Mumbai on 8th June 2020 prescribing Schedule Drugs which are listed in Schedule of NDPS Act listed at items 36 and 37 as  Psychotropic Substances  and Tele Medicines Practice Guidelines 3.7.4 dealing with Prohibited List , which prohibits prescribing of any Narcotic or Psychotropic Substance listed in the NDPS Act. It is a misconduct under 3.7.1.4 of the Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines.”

The actress is currently being questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, as part of the ongoing investigation into Sushant’s death case.

In the complaint Rhea also stated that “on the morning of 8th of June, the deceased had been on phone incessantly and when I enquired what he was doing, he showed me the message  he was exchanging with his sister Priyanka Singh. I say that I was shocked upon reading the said message as his sister has sent a list of medication to take.

“I explained to the deceased that given the seriousness of his condition and the fact he already had a medication prescribed who had examined and treated him over several months , he ought not to take any other medication…”

On Friday, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda were arrested by the NCB. They were held in the drug probe linked to the late actor’s death.

Three central agencies, the NCB, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are probing various angles linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The actor, 34, was found dead at his house in Mumbai’s Bandra on June 14. The Mumbai Police had initially said that the actor died due to suicide. However, the case was later handed over to CBI.
