A bench of Chief Justice of India (CJI) SA Bobde and Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian will hear the plea on Thursday, reported news agency PTI.

The Bombay High Court in October granted bail to Rhea and directed her to deposit a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and to visit the NCB office at 11 am on the first day of every month for the next six months.

The court also directed her to deposit her passport with the NCB and not to leave the country without the permission of the special NDPS court. For going out of Mumbai, she would need NCB’s permission, the high court said.

The court, however, rejected the bail plea of Rhea’s brother Showik, also an accused in the case. An alleged drug peddler, Abdel Basit Parihar, was also arrested.

Following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajut in June, last year, the NCB started probing the alleged use of drugs in some quarters in Bollywood.
