The stump
microphone has recently disclosed many funny incidents that happened on the
pitch. Wicket-keeper’s continuous banters with batters are a thing that every
cricket fan enjoys. The second Test between India and South Africa is going to
be quite an edgy affair after both sides failed to negotiate pacers at the
Wanderers’ sporting wicket. Nevertheless, Johannesburg Test is going to be a
treat for fans as some fascinating exchanges are happening between Indian and
South African cricketers.

While in
the first Test in Centurion, Virat Kohli was spotted using a WWE catchphrase to
encourage Jasprit Bumrah and expressing his disappointment at the third umpire
taking a long time to come to a decision, in the second Test it was Rishabh
Pant
who took on South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen. Pant’s crude words to
van de Dussen were picked up by the stump microphone during the third day’s
play.

At the end
of the 38th over, it seemed as if van der Dussen got into Pant’s ears with his
controversial catch the previous day, and by the looks of it, reminded the
India wicketkeeper of it. Pant, however, would not take it and the 23-year-old
replied to van der Dussen by saying “If you have half knowledge, then keep your
mouth shut”.

The legendary former Indian
cricketer even cracked a joke about van der Dussen’s decision to walk back to
the pavilion, saying, “He walked, nobody walks in today’s cricket. They
might have fancy cars, that’s why they don’t walk. All of them have fancy cars
so I don’t know why van der Dussen decided to walk. Nevertheless, I think
perhaps that is an indication that from here and in slow motion it might look
that it might not have gone but van der Dussen didn’t seem to have any problem
with that.”
