India Legends on Friday secured an impressive victory
over Bangladesh Legends as part of the Road Safety Series being played in
Raipur from March 5 to March 21, 2020, as they demolished the Bangladesh side,
stunting their innings total to a meagre 109 runs, before succeeding to cross
the total in just 10.1 overs.

Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar played attuned
to their respective styles, with the former enjoying his usual fiery temper and
the latter his composed yet fine-tuned demeanour, racing their side to victory.

Fans, as expected, did not remain silent about the
affair, as Twitter decidedly was both reminiscent and starstruck, seeing their
favourites return to the crease after a long while.

“Was @virendersehwag retired in real? He is still
in the same devastating mode”, tweeted one user.

“2003 or 2011 or 2021. Somethings never change.

Memefication, a standard for Twitter whenever something
goes viral, was not missed during this celebratory outburst, with a fan
likening Sehwag to Amitabh Bachchan from Mohabbatein (2000), hinting that the
smash-hitter from Najafgarh, Delhi, had not forgotten his ways in the crease.

Some others, meanwhile, cherished the timelessness of
the phenomenon known as the Sehwag-Tendulkar partnership.

The clip, tweeted out by a fan above, shows Sehwag in his usual, destructive mood.
