Sanju Samson walked down the pitch after Yashsavi Jaiswal was sent off by Deepak Chahar, thinking about the ease at which he could clear Sharjah’s relatively smaller boundary.

The Kerela batsman took 19 balls to reach his half century, hitting three sixes of Piyush Chawla’s first over. Samson who makes Rajasthan Royals’ backbone didn’t bother to take any time facing Ravindra Jadeja too, as the Indian all-rounder could only watch the Royals No.3 walk down the pitch and take him for clean hits. The show stopped when MS Dhoni resorted to Lungi Ngidi in the 12th over and got Sanju Samson going for 74 off 32 deliveries.
