Bollywood actor Salman Khan will reportedly be seen in an extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan‘s next film ‘Pathaan’.
The action-thriller, helmed by ‘War’ director Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, is set to release on January 25, 2023, the team announced with a short teaser on Wednesday.
Salman had shared the news of his cameo on an episode of Bigg Boss 14, which he hosted. “When this show ends, we will move to Pathan, then Tiger 3 and later to Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. And as eight months will pass, we will be anyway back with Bigg Boss season 15,” he had said.
Interestingly, Pathaan falls in line with a number of films that have seen the two megastars collaborate on the silver screen. Take a look at some of the projects Salman and Shah Rukh, both 56, have worked together on.
1. Karan Arjun
The actors had come together for the first time in the iconic film ‘Karan Arjun’, which was the second highest-opening Bollywood film of 1995. The fantasy action film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, had Rakhee Gulzar, Kajol and Mamta Kulkarni in lead roles with the Khans.

Shah Rukh starred in the romantic drama as guest appearance with Salman, Rani, and Preity Zinta in the lead roles. The movie, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, was a remake of the Malayalam film Chandralekha.
4. Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam
The movie had both the megastars back together as the leads, alongside Madhuri Dixit. The film was directed by K. S. Adhiyaman – his first Hindi venture – and was a remake of his own Tamil film ‘Thotta Chinungi’ (1995).
