In%201675%2C%20he%20was%20beheaded%20by%20the%20Mughal%20emperor%20Aurangzeb%20at%20Chandni%20Chowk%2C%26nbsp%3BDelhi.%20In%20the%20words%20of%20Sikh%20scholar%20Noel%20Q.%20King%20of%20the%20University%20of%20California%2C%20%22Guru%20Teg%20Bahadur%u2019s%20martyrdom%20was%20the%20first-ever%20martyrdom%20for%20human%20rights%20in%20the%20world.%22

Hence%2C%20he%20forced%20the%20Hindus%20to%20convert%20to%20Islam%20or%20executed%20them%20if%20they%20denied%20it.%20A%20delegation%20of%20500%20Kashmiri%20Pandits%20led%20by%20Pandit%20Kripa%20Ram%20went%20to%20seek%20help%20from%20Guru%20Tegh%20Bahadur%20at%20Anandpur%20Sahib.
Having%20known%20about%20the%20atrocities%20of%20Aurangzeb%2C%20Gobind%20Rai%2C%20the%20son%20of%20Guru%20Tegh%20Bahadur%20pronounced%20that%20there%20is%20nobody%20more%20capable%20than%20his%20father%20to%20solve%20the%20problems%20of%20the%20people%20of%20India.
Realizing%20that%20his%20son%20was%20now%20ready%20to%20undertake%20the%20Guruship%2C%20Guru%20Tegh%20Bahadur%2C%20without%20any%20hesitation%2C%20asked%20the%20pundits%20to%20tell%20Aurangzeb%20that%20if%20he%u2019s%20able%20to%20convert%20Guruji%20into%20Islam%2C%20everybody%20would%20follow%20the%20suit.
He%20was%20then%20arrested%20and%20presented%20before%20the%20cruel%20ruler%20and%20upon%20refusal%20to%20accept%20Islam%2C%20Guruji%20and%20his%20followers%20were%20subjected%20to%20physical%20torture%20for%20five%20days%20at%20a%20stretch.
In%20order%20to%20make%20him%20submit%2C%20Guruji%u2019s%20followers%20were%20burnt%20alive%20in%20front%20of%20him.
