Shehnaaz Gill was born on January 27, 1994, and raised in Punjab, India. She is an Indian actress, model, and singer. She always dreamt of being an actor since childhood.

She did her schooling at Dalhousie Hilltop School, Dalhousie, and completed her graduation from Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. She holds a degree in commerce.

She began her career by featuring in “Shiv Di Kitaab” in 2015 and appeared in “Majhe Di Jatti” and “Pindaan Diyan Kudiyaan” in 2016. Her other music video came out with Garry Sandhu titled Yeah Baby Refix. She also starred in some Punjabi films such as Sat Shri Akaal England in 2017, Kala Shah Kala, and Daaka in 2019.

In 2019, she entered as a celebrity participant in Bigg Boss 13. While she was in the Bigg Boss house, her first single, “Veham” came out, along with some other singles, including “Sidewalk”, “Range” and “Ronda Ali Peti”. She was the runner-up of the Bigg Boss 13, which ended in February 2020. While Shehnaaz participated in Bigg Boss 13, she met Sidharth Shukla for the first time. Fans loved to see them together. Their relationship became stronger after the show. Shehnaaz confessed her love for Sidharth on national TV many times but Sidharth never talked about his relationship with Shehnaaz openly. The duo always entertained fans with their sizzling chemistry and featured in many music videos together. However, Sidharth’s demise on September 2, 2021,  left their love story incomplete.

Immediately after Bigg Boss, she appeared in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge but it was terminated within a month because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, she appeared in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
