‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner Sidharth Shukla’s funeral took place on Friday. Several of the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actor’s friends and fans, including daily soap and Bollywood celebrities, arrived at his residence. Sidharth died at the age of 40 on Thursday. While initial reports suggested that he’d suffered a heart attack, the cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

Pictures and videos of celebrities arriving at Sidharth Shukla’s residence floated on social media. Police and news reporters were also present. An ambulance took his mortal remains for the last rites. Sidharth Shukla’s rumoured girlfriend and close friend Shehnaaz Gill was spotted arriving at the crematorium.

Amongst the attendees were actors and models Arjun Bijlani, Aly Goni and Asim Riaz. The two, along with Shehnaaz, participated in the ‘Bigg Boss’ season Sidharth won. Prince Narula, Yuvika Chaudhary, Nikki Tamboli, Rashami Desai, Rakhi Sawant and many others were also spotted.

“He was brought dead to the hospital. The cause of the death will be known after the post-mortem is conducted…,” Cooper Hospital Dean Dr Shailesh Mohite told PTI on Thursday. 

Bollywood stars including Varun Dhawan and Salman Khan paid their tributes to Sidharth on social media. Varun and Rajkumar Rao were spotted at his residence too.

Sidharth Shukla shot to fame with ‘Balika Vadhu’. He was last seen in ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’. 

As per media reports, the Mumbai Police recorded the statement of Sidharth’s family. The family outlined that the actor was fine until last evening, and it was only around 3-4 AM that the actor started feeling a bit uneasy, and complained of chest pain.
