An autopsy has found 25 bullet wounds on Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Waala‘s body, Hindustan Times reported, quoting officials.

The 28-year-old was shot dead on Sunday evening, a day after the state government withdrew his security cover. He was travelling along with his two friends in a jeep when he was shot in Punjab’s Mansa district. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Initial investigation revealed the killing to be an inter-gang rivalry, Punjab state’s top police official VK Bhawra said in a press conference.
