Popular South Indian cinema actor Samantha Akkineni, who has recently announced separation from her husband Naga Chaitanya, updated her first social media post after the announcement. Sharing a picture of herself in white attire on Instagram, Samantha dedicated the post to her ‘favourite fashion label’ Lakme.

In the picture, ‘The Family Man’ actor can be seen wearing a white coloured gown and is framed in a dimly lit all-white background. Her hair is adorned with flowers.
“Songs of old love – sound of the winter breeze on the mountains and cliff, songs of lost and found images . Sound of the melancholic echo in the valley and songs of old lovers. Sound of the wind in the old bungalows, stairways and alleys,” she wrote alongside the post.
The actor also shared details of an upcoming fashion show to be a part of Lakme Fashion Week.
Last week, Samantha Akkineni and her actor husband Naga Chaitanya announced seperation via an Instagram statement that they were getting separated after four years of happy marriage.
Sharing an emotional note with her followers on Instagram, the actor wrote that they now wish to “pursue (their) own paths.”

“To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support,” Samantha wrote in her post.
Naga Chaitanya, son of Tollywood superstar Naga Arjuna also shared the same statement.
The reasons for the split are unknown but the speculations that al was not well between the couple had been doing rounds for quite some time.
Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya, both are famous actors, most known for their contribution in Telugu cinema. The couple got married in 2017 in an intimate ceremony.
