Gujarat’s Kevadia,
where Sardar Patel’s Statue of Unity has been erected, has simultaneously emerged
as a family holiday destination with international standards, drawing in more tourists
than the Statue of Liberty in the US, news agency PTI quoted top officials as
saying.

Described as a ‘must-visit’
spot by PM Narendra Modi, the town tucked away in between the Satpura and Vindhyachal
ranges includes several tourist spots.

Additional Chief Secretory
of Gujarat, Rajiv Gupta, claimed that it was one of PM Modi’s visions to develop
the spot as a destination for an entire family.
