Sushant
Singh Rajput’s death case is not an election issue but a common man’s issue, former
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Friday while asserting
that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will do its utmost to ensure justice to
the actor.

Fadnavis,
who is in charge of the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Bihar assembly
elections, said that his party will not rest until justice was done in the case.

He was talking
to the media after inaugurating the BJP’s media centre in Patna, set up in view
of the October-November elections.

Fadnavis
dismissed reports of a rift within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), saying
that the three parties in the coalition have different perspectives on different
issues, and that it is not a big issue and “we will solve everything through
talks”.

His
comments come in the backdrop of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan’s frequent attacks on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Fadnavis was
confident that the people of Bihar will once again elect the NDA with a “historic
majority” which will work together with the central government to implement
development schemes for the state.
