Director James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” is all set to hit
Indian theatres on August 5. In a new featurette released by the makers, Gunn
has revealed that the film will have many casualties.
“The Suicide Squad” is all set to hit Indian theatres on
August 5, 2021. Director James Gunn revealed that the film will have many
casualties. Gun laughingly admitted in the featurette that, “They did say ‘You
can kill whoever you want.’ I am definitely having fun with ‘Who is going to
live and who is going to die?’”

Several fan theories have suggested Margot Robbie’s Harley
Quinn might die in the movie, and James Gunn has teased the viewers about the
possibility of the same. He said, “A lot of people think I am going to kill
Harley. You know, who knows?” Harley Quinn was last seen in Birds of
Prey(2020).
Gunn also stated that many other characters might not make
it to the end of the film which occurred as a major shock to all the DC fans.
Gunn quoted, “I think people are going to be surprised by how many people don’t
make it till the end. Just couldn’t help myself.”

Director James also promises in a featurette that ‘The
Suicide Squad’ is going to be different from any superhero movie ever made and
also that it is by far the biggest movie he has worked on.
After the poor performance of Suicide Squad (2016), directed
by David Ayer, Warner Bros. roped in James Gunn to reboot the franchise. The
movie will also star actors like Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Viola
Davis, Jai Courtney, and Peter Capaldi to name a few.
