Nandigram%20had%20first%20grabbed%20national%20headlines%20in%20the%20mid-2000s%20because%20of%20the%20anti-land%20acquisition%20agitation%20led%20by%20Banerjee.%20During%20the%20protest%2C%20Suvendu%20Adhikari%20was%20by%20Mamata%27s%20side.%20He%20joined%20the%20BJP%20in%20December%202020%2C%20and%20was%20fielded%20from%20his%20home%20turf%2C%20against%20his%20former%20mentor.%20%26nbsp%3B
Coming%20back%20to%20the%20keenly%20watched%20Nandigram%20election.%20In%20a%20bid%20to%20be%20%27Sabse%20aage%27%2C%20a%20number%20of%20media%20outlets%20called%20the%20seat.%20From%20news%20channel%20India%20Today%20to%20news%20agency%20ANI%2C%20they%20all%20put%20out%20an%20alert%20saying%20that%20Mamata%20Banerjee%20had%20won%20Nandigram%20by%201%2C200%20votes.%20Even%20leaders%20from%20across%20the%20political%20spectrum%20jumped%20the%20gun%20and%20posted%20tweets%20congratulating%20Mamata%20Banerjee.%20Even%20BBC%20fell%20to%20the%20%27news%27%20doing%20the%20rounds.%20All%20this%20happened%20between%204%20and%204.30pm.
