Indian Idol is a popular singing reality show that premieres on Sony. Rahul Vaidya was one of the contestants who appeared on the screen for the first time through Indian Idol in its first season and impressed everyone with his amazing voice. However, in one of the episodes he was scolded by the judges Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik and the video clip of the same is now going viral on the internet.

The episode featured him singing the song ‘Pretty Woman’ from ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho.’ However, he failed to impress the judges who reprimanded him for getting worse with every performance.
Shortly after his performance, Sonu Nigam said, “Aap har performance ke saath bad se badtar hoye jaa rahe hai. Jo aapne sabse pehle gaaya tha, woh aapne itna achcha gaaya tha ki Anu ji ne aapse kaha tha, %u2018Tu aage aa re.%u2019 Yaad hai na? Aur maine kaha tha ki aap shayad jo last ke teen bachenge, usme aap aayenge.”

He further added that the quality of his performance got degraded with time and he didn%u2019t expect it. Anu Malik added to it by saying, it seems that he has got overconfident in his approach towards singing which was visible in his eyes, face, and attitude.

He said, “Woh jo namrata hoti hai, humbleness hoti hai, woh awaaz mein aati hai. Toh pehle kya gaa rahe the, jab tum aaye the, tumhari bhookh nazar aa rahi thi. Aaj tum idhar aaye ho, hume tumhari bhookh nazar hi nahi aa rahi. Tumhe lagta hai, %u2018Haan, main aa gaya hoon.%u2019 Yeh attitude hai.”
The Madhanaya singer recently released a new song that is dedicated to his best friends which he made during the reality show Big boss, titled ‘Aly,’ The song has been released for Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin.

Currently, he is in Capetown shooting for the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. The show is currently being shot in Cape Town along with other famous contestants like Aastha Gill, Arjun Bijlani, Divyanka Tripathi and others.
