The last film from the franchise, Spider-Man: Far From Home, was released in 2019 and ended on a cliff-hanger as Peter Parker revealed his identity as Spider-Man.

What do we know about the new film?

Well, till now the fans of the franchise have quite a lot to get excited about.

Earlier in October, it was revealed our friendly neighbourhood doctor is back, as Benedict Cumberbatch will don the cloak of levitation to reprise supernatural hero Doctor Strange in the new movie.

Seemingly, the Sorcerer Supreme will take up the mentor role.

It was also announced that Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in the Andrew Garfield-starring The Amazing Spider-Man 2, would also be back as the classic Spidey villain in the new film.

The Jon Watts-directed film is slated for a December 17, 2021 release.
