police on Monday issued statements pertaining to lawyer-activist Nikita
Jacob, Shantanu Muluk and climate activist Disha
Ravi
’s alleged Khalistani links and involvement in farmers’ toolkit case. The police alleged that all three of them–Nikita, Disha and Shantanu attended a Zoom meeting organised by a ‘pro-khalistani’ group, Poetic Justice Foundation on January 11.

The probable motive of the meeting according to Delhi police was to create a Twitter storm ahead of Republic day.

In another statement, Delhi police also claimed that Disha Ravi and Shantanu were associates of Nikita Jacob, who edited the toolkit after the former created the document.

According to Jacob’s LinkedIn profile, she is a “practicing advocate” enrolled with the Maharashtra and Goa State Bar Council and registered with the Bombay High Court. Her profile also describes herself as a human right and environmental activist. 

Jacob graduated from Indian Law Society’s Law College, Pune.

The Bombay high court lawyer has filed a transit bail application in Bombay High Court in response to Delhi police’s non bailable warrant.

Delhi Police’s stance on Nikita Jacob

According to Delhi police, Disha and Shantanu were Nikita Jacob’s associate who created the farmers’ toolkit document. The toolkit was later edited by Nikita herself.

The police also claimed that initial probe into Nikita’s digital devices offered data compelling enough provided to obtain a search warrant from Court, which was issues on February 9.

The toolkit document was shared with international activist Greta Thunberg via Telegram app by Disha Ravi, said Delhi police on Monday.

According to Delhi police officials, Nikita Jacob was also a part of pro-Khalistani zoom meeting, which was also attended by  by Mo Dhaliwal, Poetic Justice Foundation founder.

Who is Shantanu Muluk

According to police, Shantanu Muluk hails from Maharashtra’s Breed and is an engineer by education.

Shantanu also runs an NGO.

Shantanu on Monday approached Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court seeking transit bail in response to non bailable-warrant which will be heard by the court on Tuesday, Shantanu’s lawyer told ANI.

As per police, Shantanu was also involved in the pro-Khalistani meeting before Republic day.

Shantanu was also behind the creation of email address which had the toolkit document, alleged Delhi police.
