Travis Kelce is a tight end who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL). At 31-years-old, Kelce is an established star in his position and has become a vital cog for the Kansas City Chiefs over the years. Player Bio:

Born on October 5, 1989 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Kelce was a three-sport athlete in his high school days, when he played football, basketball and baseball.

However, he excelled at football and played college football at the University of Cincinnati. A failed drug test kept him suspended in his second year in 2010, but Kelce%u2019s performances in his last two years attracted attention from professional teams.

He was named College Football Performance Awards Tight End of the Year in 2013 for a stellar season in 2012.

He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round (63rd overall pick) in the 2013 NFL Draft, and signed him on a four-year, $3.12 million contract that included an over $700,000 signing-on bonus.

He was restricted to just one appearance in his rookie season in 2013 due to a knee injury, however, he was their leading receiver the following season, recording 862 yards from 67 receptions.

The crowning moment of his career came in the year 2019, when he won the Super Bowl LIV, helping the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers 31-20. In that game, Kelce caught six passes for 43 receiving yards, had a receiving touchdown and one carry for two rushing yards.

 His second Super Bowl appearance came the following year, when the Chiefs were defeated by Tom Brady%u2019s Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-9. However, he set a new record for the most receiving yards by a tight end in a Super Bowl, with 133.

Kelce is also a six-time Pro Bowl, three-time First Team All-Pro, two-time Second Team All-Pro and was named in the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. Overall, he has 612 Receptions for 7,881 Receiving yards and has 48 Receiving touchdowns in his NFL career.

Kelce has scored a total of 1,078.9 points over an eight-year career in teh NFL, averaging 8.6 points per game. He is coming off the back of his best season in fantasy, both in terms of total points scored and average.
