Trinamool Congress, the incumbent ruling party of poll-bound West Bengal, on Friday released its complete list of candidates ahead of the Assembly elections scheduled to begin on March 27 in the state.

A total 294 assembly constituencies will go to polls in the 2021 elections. Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has announced she will contest from Nandigram Assembly seat. 

West Bengal Assembly election will be held in eight phases, from March 27 to April 29. Votes will be counted on May 2.

Earlier on Friday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that she would be contesting from the Nandigram constituency, adding further that she would be visiting Nandigram on March 9 and filing her nomination on March 10.
