University of Kashmir postpones LLM second semester examination due to heavy snowfall
The University of Kashmir has postponed the LLM 2nd semester examination, which was scheduled to be held on January 8, due to heavy snowfall in Kashmir, reported Greater Kashmir.
Professor M Ayoub, Head and Dean School of Law said, “The examination of the postponed papers LM17216DCE and LM17217DCE shall now be held on 14 January 2021. The time and venue shall remain unchanged.”
The 260 kilometre-long Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was shut for traffic for the fifth consecutive day on Thursday due to heavy snowfall over the past four days. The minimum temperature across the valley stayed below the freezing point, reported PTI.
Officials told PTI that heavy snowfall threw life out of gear in the valley with the administration pressing men and machinery into service to clear the roads of snow.
