At least 200 people are still missing since an avalanche wreaked havoc in Joshimath of Chamoli district.

On Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “450 jawans of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, five teams of National Disaster Response Force, eight teams of Indian Army, a Navy team and five IAF helicopters are engaged in search and rescue operation.”
