A chilling video from Karnataka’s Bannerghatta National Park has left social media users stunned.

The clip, shared by Indian business tycoon Anand Mahindra on Twitter, shows a tiger pulling an SUV full of tourists with his teeth. He wrote, “Going around #Signal like wildfire. Apparently on the Ooty to Mysore Road near Theppakadu. Well, that car is a Xylo, so I guess I’m not surprised he’s chewing on it. He probably shares my view that Mahindra cars are Deeeliciousss.”

Tourists in another vehicle were heard exclaiming as they filmed the scene, “Oh my God he is pulling the whole car.”

Twitter users reacted to the video, commending the animal’s strength, “The power of a tiger in full display! Fantastic! I think that like my grandbabies, the tiger too was teething!”

“Oh My God..Worth watching video. Imagine the power and strength of Tiger,” another user posted.

Yash Shah, who was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident, also shared a video in response to the tweet. He wrote, “This incident happened in Bannerghatta National Park on 22Nov2020. Xylo broke down and wasn’t starting. White t-shirt guy in the car that’s me with my family.”

Tigers are known to have the longest canine teeth (2.5 to 3 inches) among all cats, and a fearsome bite force to back it up. This amounts to more than a thousand pounds-per-square-inch of pressure — almost twice as much bite force as the king of the jungle, according to Field and Stream.
