A video of an encounter between a tiger and a monkey on a tree has gone viral on the internet but what triggers hilarious reactions on social media is how the tiger attempts to attack the money. The video, shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Praveen Angusamy, shows how the monkey escapes the attack by the big cat.

When the calm and poised tiger approaches its prey, the monkey escapes the attack by jumping on another branch of the tree, an action that leaves the big cat in a dubious situation. Wondering how to get down from the tree, the tiger in an attempt to cling to the branches, loses its control and falls to the ground.

Sharing the video on Twitter, the IFS officer wrote, “Don’t push your weaknesses, always know & play with your strengths.”

The video has been viewed over 11,500 times on Twitter and liked by over 1,300 people.

The video got different reactions, as on one hand people commended the act of the monkey while, on the other hand, they had a different take for the tiger’s defeat. 

A user wrote, “Tiger after falling down: किसी ने देखा तो नहीं [Hope no one saw].” Another appreciated the monkey, saying, “Clever monkey survival tactics.”
