A TikTok video that went viral sparked a discussion
on toxic relationships. While the internet by and large gives ‘relationship goals’ and ‘couple goals’, it often also reveals the toxic side of relationships.

A recent TikTok
video shared by a woman, who goes by the username @hteesheee, has given a look
into her ex-boyfriend’s controlling behaviour that led sparked a debate on unhealthy relationships.

In the recent
viral video, @hteesheee shared a screenshot of a message sent by her
ex-boyfriend asking her to remove an Instagram selfie. The text read, “if
I don’t see this gone in the next 5 minutes before 1.40 pm, I’m done.” The
man also attached a picture of a five-minute timer.

Before the
woman could reply to the message, her ex-boyfriend again sent her the text
saying that he broke up with her. His text read, “You have a good
life,” followed by another message. “You don’t
have to be a burden to me anymore. You can do whatever you want.

While sharing
these messages, @hteeshee captioned the video, “People that are saying
Euphoria is dramatic, but I had to deal with this.” She was referring to
HBO’s hit teen drama Euphoria, which reveals several sides of problematic
relationships.

The video soon
went viral, with many people sharing their own experiences with toxic and
controlling partners. The video has more than 6.5 lakh views.

In a follow-up
video, @hteesheee stated that her ex-boyfriend created many TikTok accounts to
make sure she knew he was watching her content. “I’ve blocked like three
different accounts already. Dude, leave me alone,” she said in a caption.
