Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Tamil Nadu as part of his campaign for the upcoming state election, took his social media to share a video showcasing aerial view of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue situated in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari.

He wrote, “On the way to the rally in Kanyakumari, caught a glimpse of the majestic Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the grand Thiruvalluvar Statue.”

Vivekananda Rock Memorial was built in 1970 on the rock where philosopher Swami Vivekananda is said to attained enlightenment. A 133-feet tall stone Thiruvalluvar Statue honours famous Tamil poet Saint Thiruvalluvar.

The video has over 4 lakh views and people expressed gratitude to the PM for sharing the video. 

The state of Tamil Nadu will go to polls in a single phase on April 6 and BJP has used all its star campaigners to make a mark in the south Indian state. 

The PM also shared a video of his rally in Kerala and wrote, “Thank you Thiruvananthapuram!” The state of Kerala will also go to polls on April 6.
