Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan on Friday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi lives in his heart like Lord Ram lived in Hanuman’s, adding he can rip open his chest to prove the same.

“The chief minister (Nitish Kumar) was worried I will use the Prime Minister’s photographs to promote my campaign. Show me one hoarding, one banner, poster where I have used his photo.” Paswan was quoted as saying by ANI.

“I don’t need to use PM Modi’s photos for campaigning. He lives in my heart, I am his Hanuman. If needed, I’ll tear open my chest and show it,” he added.

Earlier today, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a scathing attack on Paswan, accusing him of trying to create a confusion by harping on his equations with senior leaders of the saffron party. The BJP asserted that it had no relations with the LJP.

The Bihar polls are scheduled in three phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7. The counting of votes will be done on November 10.
