The coronavirus
pandemic changed lives last year and forced millions around the globe to stay
indoors. People were made to work behind closed doors, which took some getting
used to. Although the situation has improved drastically since the onset of the
pandemic, a large number of employees continue to work from their homes.

Pichai
recently uploaded a video on Twitter with the caption, “Always remember

It looks like the tech
maestro has also been the victim of starting a conversation and not realising
that he had been on mute the whole time. A scenario that most internet users
have gone through at least once in the past few months.

Sundar comes to the
realisation after Kermit the frog says, “Sundar, I
think you are on mute. Wow, can’t believe I am talking to the CEO of Google,
and he is on mute,” The moment occurs around 11 seconds into the clip.

Following the realisation that he had made a
mistake Sundar apologises like a gentleman and says, “Sorry Kermit. I was on
mute, and I’ve done it a few times this year like everyone else. I’m huge fan
of you and the muppets,”

Kermit and Sundar Pichai engaged in a conversation
for YouTube’s “Dear Earth” series. It is a YouTube original programme which
aims the understand the challengers that the whole world faces with regards to
sustainability and solutions to those problems.

Kermit the Frog is a muppet character which was
created by Jim Henson. It is popularly recognised as a character on popular children’s
televisions series ‘Sesame Street’ and the comedy series titled ‘The Muppet
Show’.
