Glenn Maxwell married Vini Raman, who is of Indian ancestry, on March 18. On Wednesday, a few photos and videos of the Australian throwing a wedding reception for his RCB colleagues appeared on social media. Virat Kohli, who enjoys dancing to Punjabi songs, was spotted grooving to the tunes of ‘Oo Antawa’ from the popular film Pushpa.
Maxwell was unavailable to play for RCB from the start due to his upcoming wedding. Maxwell has been preoccupied with his on-field duties since his arrival in Maharashtra for the 15th season of the IPL.
On the field, Maxwell, Kohli, and the rest of the Royal Challengers Bangalore players have had a mixed season thus far. With 5 wins in 9 games, Royal Challengers Bangalore is now ranked fifth in the points table. There are five more league games to play before the playoffs begin.
Anushka Sharma, an actress, uploaded a photo of herself and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, dressed up in ethnic attire for Virat’s Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Glen Maxwell’s wedding festivities. Anushka and Virat were present at the function while remaining within the IPL bio-bubble.
On Thursday morning, Anushka posted two photos from the occasion on her Instagram. Virat and she are shown in front of a rickshaw at the party location. In another image, the words RCB Little Champs and MaxiVins can be seen in the backdrop. Virat is dressed in a blue kurta and pyjama, while Anushka is dressed in a pink salwar suit with an embroidered dupatta.
