Every now and then Twitter has something trendy that leaves all of us amazed. This time it’s a video of a lady, dressed in a saree, who was filmed capturing a snake barehanded.

The woman, who was later identified as Nirzara Chitti, is a snake rescuer from Karnataka. In the viral video, she picked up a unique cobra snake in a self-composed manner, as people around her watched and filmed the situation.

The short clip surfaced on Twitter four days ago although it was filmed last year. In the video, Chitti is seen using a stick to grab attention of the snake from behind a cupboard. She then picks it up with her bare hands. However, the most interesting part of the clip was that Chitti was dressed in a saree.

In the video, she was also heard saying that she was actually dressed for a function. “Lekin mujhe saree ki vajah se ye handle karne ko nahi ho raha,” she said, describing that her outfit made it difficult for her to catch the snake.

The Twitter user who first shared the video originally identified the lady as Virat Bhagini. It was later clarified that her name is Nirzara Chitti.

“Virat Bhagini, a snake catcher, was dressed to attend a wedding when she was called to catch a snake in a home. She did it without any special equipment with perfect poise in a saree,” the user wrote. “A friend just informed me that her name is Nirzara Chitti,” she later tweeted.

Till now the video has over 4.5 lakh views on Twitter and has been shared massively on other social media platforms, including Reddit.

The original video was shared by Nirzara Chitti and her husband Anand Chitti on their YouTube channel last year.

“Nirzara had to attend a marriage function but in between, she got a rescue call so she immediately went for the rescue and rescued this cobra,” the description of the video reads.
