A viral wildlife video on Instagram has left internet users with gaping eyes and lots of questions. A video, posted by ‘Safari Gallery’ on Instagram shows a woman casually walking in a forest with six lionesses in broad daylight. The woman, who is seen wearing a flowy dress, then goes ahead to hold a lioness’ tail and walk, all the while smiling and waving at the camera. The lionesses are seen calmly walking together.

The video, captioned as “Do one thing every now and then that scares the life out of you”, has garnered thousands of views. Many internet users have rushed to the comments to express their thoughts on the astounding video. While some users have expressed their shock, others have dismissed the video as a work of graphic editing.

What made internet users gape is the calmness of the woman as well as the six lionesses.

One user, who strongly condemned the video, wrote, “Doing things that scare the life out of you can mean death in some cases, so no thanks. Y’all think it is sooo cool walking with lions and wildlife, until life gets wild. Then you’ll be somewhere screaming for help. We were NOT meant to be this close to wild animals. Period.”

Another user wrote, “These are not wild lions, maybe trained lions from the circus. Stop making a fool out of people.”

A similar video on Twitter recently went viral. In the video, a woman wearing a hijab is seen carrying a grown lioness. The woman, who appears completely unfazed, continues to carry the lioness despite the wild animal’s roars. Similar to the first video, many users had also questioned the authenticity of the footage. According to a Kuwait-based newspaper, the video is said to be authentic, as a woman from Kuwait had apparently been domesticating a lioness.
