The World Test Championship was earlier scheduled to begin from June 10, 2021 but has now been postponed to June 18, ANI reports.

It will be held at the Lord’s Cricket Ground London, England from June 18 to June 22. June 23 will be the reserving day.

India needs a draw in the next game to qualify and go to the WTC. Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain, said how winning the championship will be the ultimate cherry on the cake.

New Zealand has already qualified for the championship.
