Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh was appointed as the director of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Hyderabad on Thursday. He replaces Dr Prithvi Yadav, who took on the post in 2015. 

NMIMS Hyderabad was established in 2010. The mission of the B-school is ‘to provide high quality trained human resources who are industry ready and socially sensitive’.

Dr Ramesh Bhat, the vice-chancellor of NMIMS, hailed Dr Ghosh as an ‘award-winning and globally recognized academician, and an educationist’ .

I look forward to the support of the management as we move towards achieving to be the best Deemed-to-be University, the best B-School with multi-dimensional specializations,” Dr Siddhartha Ghosh said.

Who is Dr Siddhartha Ghosh?

Dr Ghosh is a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. He is an M.Tech graduate. He served as the Senior Director Delivery and Dean Academics at TalentSprint, Hyderabad for one year and two months before joining NMIMS in October 2022. 

He has about 22 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Administrative field. Dr. Ghosh has won accolades for co-authoring two books in addition to sixty-two national and international research publications.

“He has been passionate about Institute Building, Human Resource Building, Leadership, L&D, Mentoring, Academic Research, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning,” NMIMS’ press release reads.

Dr Ghosh did his Bachelor of Engineering from National Institute of Technology Agaratala. He then got his Master of Technology degree from the University of Hyderabad. He has done his PHD from the Osmania University. 

Dr Siddhartha Ghosh has also worked as a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Dept. , R&D Head at Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology.
