Jehan Daruvala is an Indian racer who currently drives for Prema Racing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. He was a Force India F1 team protege after winning one of three ‘One in a Billion hunts’ organized by the team in 2011. As of now, he is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team.

Daruvala was born in Mumbai on October 1, 1998, to Khurshed and Kainaz Daruvala, a Parsi family. He studied at Bombay Scottish School, Mahim. His father, Khurshed, is the current MD of Sterling & Wilson, a Shapoorji Pallonji associate company.

Daruvala began karting at the age of thirteen in 2011 and has since won titles as champion and vice-champion throughout Asia and Europe. Rayomand Banerjee, his coach, recognized his talent early on and was instrumental in laying the groundwork for his future success.

Daruvala made the switch to single-seaters with Fortec Motorsport in the Formula Renault 2.0 championships in 2015. He finished fifth in the Northern European Cup and drove as a guest in the Eurocup and Alps series.

Daruvala switched to reigning series champion Josef Kaufmann Racing the following year, where he won the Northern European Cup and finished fourth overall. He finished ninth in the Eurocup.

Daruvala announced his intention to switch to the European Formula 3 Championship for the 2017 season in November 2016. The following month, he agreed to race for Carlin. He won one race at the Norisring and finished sixth overall, outscoring all of his teammates except champion Lando Norris.

Daruvala competed for the Prema Powerteam in the inaugural Formula 3 season in 2019. He won two races: the sprint race at Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit and the feature race in France. He had seven podiums and was second for most of the season, but he finished third in the championship, just one point behind teammate Marcus Armstrong.

Daruvala and Carlin reunited in February 2020 to compete in the 2020 season. Alongside Red Bull Junior Team member Yuki Tsunoda, he was also announced as a new recruit to the Red Bull Junior Team. He finished the season with his first Formula 2 Sprint Race victory in Sakhir, Bahrain. He is the only current Indian Formula 2 driver.

He will be back with Carlin in 2021, along with Dan Ticktum. He finished second in the first round of the Bahrain Grand Prix, then P4 and P6 in Races 2 and 3. He had a difficult weekend in Monaco, scoring just one point all weekend. He regained form in Azerbaijan, finishing fourth in Race 1 and third in Race 2. Another difficult weekend in Silverstone followed, with only three points earned. In Monza, he won the second Sprint Race and finished fifth in the Feature Race. After a difficult start from the front row, he finished third in the Sochi Feature Race. He won the 1st Sprint Race in Abu Dhabi by beating out Felipe Drugovich.
