Kuldeep Yadav is an Indian international cricket player. He represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. The 27-year-old player is a left-handed batsman and a slow left-arm spin bowler. He was purchased by the Delhi Capitals for the 2022 IPL season.
Kuldeep Yadav was born on December 14, 1994, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Wasim Akram and Zaheer Khan had a great influence on him, and he aspired to be a left-arm seamer. His coach, however, insisted on him becoming a wrist spinner after observing the turns and variations he provided during his training sessions. He then began watching bowling videos of Shane Warne.

Yadav was named to the Indian cricket team to face the West Indies in October 2014, but he did not play in any of the matches. He was added to India’s Test squad for the match against Bangladesh in February 2017.
Yadav made his Test debut for India against Australia in March 2017 and took 4 wickets in the first innings. He became the first left-arm wrist spin bowler to represent India’s national cricket in the Test series.

Yadav became the third Indian bowler after Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev to take a hat-trick in an ODI In September 2017. He scored a hat-trick against Australia at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. He took his first five-wicket haul in an ODI against England in July 2018, and also set a new record for the best bowling figures by a left-arm spin bowler of any kind in an ODI (6/25).
Yadav played for the Mumbai Indians in 2012 before joining the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014, where he competed in the Champions League Twenty20.
Yadav was acquired by KKR in the 2018 IPL auction in January 2018. He was purchased by the Delhi Capitals in the February 2022 IPL auction.
