The online registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 will begin on Monday, September 13. The JEE Advanced application process will commence from today and will remain open till September 19 while for the payment of the application fee, the window will remain active till September 20.

The JEE Advance 2021 will give chance to last year's missouts to appear for the exam this year. Candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2020 but remained absent due to COVID or any associated reasons will be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 directly, without having to take the JEE Main 2021 exam.

Here's a step by step process to apply for the JEE Advance 2021

Step 1: Go to the JEE Advanced 2021 official website -

Step 2: Click on the homepage and register on the login window using JEE Main 2021 login id and password

Step 3: Once done, students will be given an option to make a new password for JEE Advanced

Step 4: Fill in the JEE Advanced 2021 application form with all asked details

Step 5: Upload the scanned documents as asked (photo, signature etc.)

Step 6: Pay the JEE Advanced application fee through prescribed gateways

Step 7: Submit and save the application form for future use

Make sure that all the scanned copies of the documents such as candidate picture, signature are in PDF format when you upload them. 

For the candidates who had qualified JEE Main 2020 and JEE Main 2021, the required documents include Class 10 Pass Certificate or Date of Birth Certificate, Class 12 Marksheet, Caste Certificate or PwD Certificate (if any), Scribe Request Letter, (if needed) and gazette notification showing the change of name, for students whose names are not the same as their Class 10 or Birth Certificate.

For foreign candidates, an additional citizenship certificate is required for the application of JEE Advance 2021.

JEE Advanced exam is held for admission to various undergraduate Engineering, Science and Architecture courses in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), one of the most prestigious science and technology institutes in the country. To be considered qualified for JEE Advanced, an applicant must be among the top 2.5 lakh successful JEE Main candidates.
