Julia Robert’s 16-year-old daughter Hazel Moder made her Cannes red carpet debut at the 2021 film festival alongside her father, Daniel Moder. Although, it’s a rare sight for their kids to be in the spotlight, but July 10 was indeed a special occasion fr the star-studded family.
The father-daughter pair stepped out at the premiere of Sean Penn’s thriller “Flag Day” for which Moder served as the cinematographer. For the red- carpet debut, Hazel donned a pale yellow lace shirtdress and black Mary Janes—harkened back to the '90s while Moder wore a tuxedo. She kept her hair in a simple ponytail and smiled for the cameras alongside her dad.
Meanwhile, Hazel is not in the film “Flag Day” but she did have a small part in her mother’s 2016 ensemble film “Mother’s Day”, according to the IMDb page. The film Flag Day is something of a Hollywood family affair directed by Sean Penn and stars in it alongside his two children, daughter Dylan Penn and son Hopper Penn. Regina King also appears in the movie.
Julia and Daniel welcomed Hazel and her twin brothers Phinnaeus in November 2004, then they welcomed their younger son Henry three years later in June 2007. Recently, the couple celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. This was the first major public appearance for hazel as she and her brothers stay out of the spotlight.
