Adho Mukha Savasana

A part of sun salutation Asana, this pose helps in stimulating hair follicles by regulating blood circulation to the spot. It is done by standing on all fours with your knees and palms on the yoga mat. Rise on your feet and move your legs back to form an inverted V shape. Breathe in and out and stay in that position for 5 long breaths.

This Asana is performed by Kneeling down and sitting on your heels with a straight back. hands should be kept in a relaxed position on thighs with palms down and keep head straight. Being in this position for 30 seconds while breathing in and out helps release stress which is the root cause of the untimely greying of hair and hair fall. It also improves blood circulation in the scalp.

Also called the shoulder stand, it is done when one lies down on their back with leg raises in the air keeping the back straight up. Support your body with your forearms and keep your buttocks straight and up. Let your body rest on your shoulders with your hands keeping your spine straight. Hold the position, inhale and exhale for a couple of seconds and then release.

Sirsasana

Sirsana is considered one of the most difficult yoga positions. Also called the headstand, this Asana is performed by bending your body down and then gently pulling the lower body up in the air so that headrests in the ground and legs are raised up in the air. The skull is supported by the forearms that make a cushion-like structure around. This yoga Asana improves blood circulation in the scalp and releases toxins and stress that causes hair follicles to grow.
