India is home to a variety of cultures and striking monuments that each tell a story. The Taj Mahal, situated in the heart of Agra, is a historic structure built on the roots of love by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

While an old myth suggests that the ruler chopped off the hands of workers who built the monument in order to avoid any replication, several people across the world have used the Taj Mahal as an inspiration to construct look-alikes.
