Vaginal pain and discomfort

Vaginal pain and discomfort can be due to many reasons like urinary tract infection or vaginal infection but while many women consider it to be normal, they must understand it is now. If you experience any kind of unnatural discomfort and pain in your vaginal area, consult a gynecologist at the earliest.

Painful periods

The condition when a woman experiences immense pain during periods is called dysmenorrhoea. While some cramps and discomfort including back and abdominal pain is normal, but if the pain hampers your everyday activities, then it is not. You must consider getting a gynecologist’s opinion on this.

Post-sex bleeding

Spotting blood during or after sex can be an early sign of sexually transmitted infections (STI) and needs to be investigated immediately. However, many women think that it is normal to bleed after sex due to hymen breakage or pressure, note that it is not.

Urine leakage 

The condition is obviously embarrassing and is why women feel refrain from sharing it with anyone, but one must understand that consulting an expert can actually resolve the issue. Urine leakage usually happens while coughing or sneezing or exercising or when one has a strong urge to pass urine and leakage occurs before one reaches the washroom. 

This problem needs to be assessed early by a specialist so that correct exercises, bladder training treatments can be started to prevent the progression of the issue.
