Fashion changes every season but
what remains constant is style and how you revive a particular trend in your
own unique way. In the times of COVID-19, there will lot of innovations when it
comes to fusion of multiple styles, regions, craftsmanship and eras as people
are willing to experiment, says designer Anaita Shah.

“Denims, puffed sleeve jacket, bell-bottoms
sleeved shrug will be the IN trends and chic silhouettes, bold styles and
fierce colours will rule the fashion charts,” Shah, who also runs her designer
label Kaprapan, told Opoyi while talking about new trends that are going
to emerge in the world of fashion.

“Imagine embroidered jacket or a blazer
with a classic sharara – that’s what excites me,” she said.

She says that fashion is a form
of expression
and hence it is important not to compromise on comfort.

“Be creative, traditional, formal
or fun, the most important part is- be comfortable. Add some nice funky choker
to your accessory section and a small addition would change your look
completely. Similarly bright colour bangles with western semi formals would
look super striking,” she said.

There are many fashionistas who believes
in showing their fashion side with smart jewelleries. For them, she said, “If
the question on jewellery has come, then I would like you all to check out the
handcrafted Afghani jewellery – mang tikas, neck pieces, earrings, waist belts
etc. A lot of them give nomadic and tribal vibes which looks fabulous.”

So this season, let your fashion speak for you.
