Pre-workout skincare tips:

  1. Unblock your pores: Always make sure that your skin pores are clean. Clogged pores may result in acne, breakouts, and rashes on your skin. To avoid these conditions, always remove your makeup before your workout session. You can also use a good quality facial cleanser to clean your skin.
  2. Use sunscreen for outdoor workouts: If you are working outdoors, always apply a generous amount of sunscreen on your skin. There are different types of sunblock available including waterproof and light-textured. 
  3. Fragrance-free wet wipes: Wet wipes are a good option to avoid oil and sweat. Make sure you have fragrance-free, paraben-free wipes if you feel sweaty. If you feel a little dry, just sprinkle some water and you are good to go.

Post-workout skincare tips:

  1. Wash your face: The first thing you should do after a workout is to wash your face with cold water. The goal is to get rid of bacteria, dirt, or sweat as fast as possible. 
  2. Use the anti-oil formula: Use good quality, deep cleansing face wash that has an anti-oil based formula. Anti-oil foaming face washes have a stronger effect than gel-based ones. Follow it with a good moisturizer.
  3. Do not touch your face after touching gym equipment: We always overlook the little things during workouts. Gym equipments have a lot of germs that transmit onto your hands. The same transports onto your face and generate skin problems that nobody wants. Always use anti-bacterial wipes after touching equipment.
