Singer-composer Lucky Ali started trending on Twitter after a rumour made it to the microblogging site claiming that Ali has died on Tuesday. Many started expressing their condolences, others said it was fake news. Stating that the singer was absolutely fine, his friend and actor Nafisa Ali tweeted, "Lucky is totally well and we were chatting this afternoon. He is on his farm with his family. No Covid. In good health."
His publicist Malvika Nanda tweeted, "Pls don’t believe these stupid rumours about #luckyali Just had a word with him; He’s hale & hearty by god’s grace, chilling at home. Listen to good music not stupid shit (one tight slap to the person who started this rumour). Stay safe!"
She added, "In his own words: he is “resting, peacefully at home.” #luckyali".
The singer was last seen in Amaraya, his second collaborative single with Israeli singer-songwriter Eliezer Cohen Botzer.
