A massive fire broke out in Noida's Sector 49 on Tuesday night. According to reports, chief fire officer and the team have rushed to the spot. The incident took place in shanties of Barola village located in Noida's Gautam Buddh Nagar, reported news agency ANI.

Several users put up clips of the fire on Twitter.

"Taking immediate action on the fire in the slum of Baraula under police station Sector-49 Noida area, 12 fire brigades and fire fighters have controlled the fire under the supervision of senior officers", read a tweet by Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate.

"Reach all possible help by reaching the spot immediately and make us aware of the current situation.@112UttarPradesh", Uttar Pradesh Police had earlier tweeted out, tagging the official handle of the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police.

Few weeks ago, two people died due to fire in Noida.
